THREAD INSERTS
The
Recoil system consists of precision inserts, quality high speed
taps and easy to use installation tools which are used for repairing
damaged screw threads or creating strong new threads.
Recoil inserts are available in either standard free running form
or screw lock type which provides an internal locking feature.
Inserts are manufactured for every thread form including UNC,
UNF, BSC, BSW, BSP, BSF, BA, NPT and ISO Metric thread sizes.

covering the majority of sizes commonly in use today.

Kits contain a HSS tap, installation tools, precision stainless

in single or multiple size format.

AND GAUGES

tapping through to machine production requirements.
Recoil offer high performance tap design and high precision in
manufacture for low torque tapping and longer tap life.
A short pod design enables Recoil STI taps to cut with minimal
drag and consistently produce quality tapped holes. Taps are manufactured
to ISO, ANSI, DIN and JIS standards.
